Come spend a day reviewing various 4-mallet Stevens Grip techniques, learning fun exercises, and chopping out!

What You’ll Learn:

Basic Techniques (block chords, rotations, permutations, etc.) Advanced Concepts (extended octave grip, double and triple laterals, inside two runs, etc.) All while focusing on making great sounds on the instrument.

What You’ll Need:

Students will be provided either a marimba or vibraphone to play throughout the day but will need to bring a set of 4 mallets.

What You’ll Get:

World-class instruction on a multitude of techniques in the Stevens Grip, lunch and a fun t-shirt!

This is a no-stress learning environment where you’ll be gaining knowledge from Bluecoats, KSU and Atlanta Quest’s own Claire Kenney.
